By creating your account on the Choral Calculator, you automatically agree to the collection of the data you provide. Your name, email, social provider identifier (Google), and access token (your Google account) are essential for creating your account and using all the Calculator’s modules. The access token is used by the Calculator to communicate with Google to verify your account and securely access personal data.

Through forms, you will provide data about your choir: identifiers such as the choir’s name and city of location; and technical details like the range of each voice section and the level of proficiency in various skills. You will also provide, via forms, data about your repertoire: identifiers like composers’ names; and technical aspects such as required vocal ranges and the degree of complexity in various compositional elements. When you initiate a calculation, the Calculator will also store the results obtained. All these types of data are absolutely necessary for the functioning of the Choral Calculator and will be maintained as long as your account exists. The data of choirs and works may also be statistically analyzed by authorized personnel managing the Choral Calculator to refine the application functionalities.

The Choral Calculator uses cookies exclusively to personalize your experience and for measurement and analysis purposes. For example, a cookie is necessary for automatic login to the application via your Google account whenever you return to the site using the same browser. By creating an account in the application and using its features, you agree to this use of cookies. No physical address will be requested, but your location and IP address may be collected in this process. Your data collected through cookies will be maintained as long as your account in the application exists.

All the data you provide, whether personal, related to choirs, works, or calculations, WILL NOT be sold or shared with third parties.

You can consult only your own data collected by the Choral Calculator using the available resources once logged into your account. Some modules allow you to request automatic and additional emails of the collected data. If necessary, you can request other data related to you via email. Through this same address, you can also request correction, deletion, or restriction of data processing. If any of these actions has the potential to reduce the Calculator’s ability to generate adequate results, the action will be suspended, and you will receive a notification about the right to cancel your account with the deletion of your data or to keep the account as it is at that time. The deletion of data does not include any data that the Calculator is required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Any email inquiry related to your data will be answered within seven (7) days, with a possible additional period of up to thirty (30) days for the execution of the requested action. Any such request must originate exclusively from the email registered in your account. Other originating addresses will not be recognized as owners of your account.

The collected data will be stored on servers located in the United States of America, which were chosen to optimize performance and security, as well as to enable specific functionalities of the Choral Calculator’s modules. By using the modules of the Choral Calculator, you agree to this international data transfer, provided that appropriate protection measures are adopted.

The Choral Calculator’s database undergoes daily backups and can only be directly accessed by the Calculator or by authorized personnel managing it.

For questions or requests related to privacy issues, please send an email from the address registered in your account. Visit the Contact page for more information.
